Careful distillation enriches Grappa di Poggio Bonelli with all the great aromatic complexity that Sangiovese offers. Bright and amber in color, the palate evokes characteristic grape aromas (floral and berry notes) and complex, vinous nuances resulting from fermentation, enriched with hints of honey, peach, and apricot. The alcoholic vigor, balanced by great elegance, imparts a warm, full-bodied flavor that finishes with aromatic hints of vanilla and licorice.

Located on the estate's best hillsides, south-facing, average age 30-35 years.

Blend:
Sangiovese and other red grape varieties specified in the production specifications.

Harvest:
Hand-selected around mid-September.
