From the sunniest vineyard, the innovative spirit of the Antinori family, and one of Cortona's areas best suited to growing quality Syrah, comes Bramasole, a wine capable of evolving over time and expressing, through a new variety, a territory steeped in ancient winemaking tradition. The first vintage of Bramasole was 2000.

La Braccesca extends over 508 hectares where the ancient farm of the Bracci counts once stood, hence the estate's name and its coat of arms: an arm covered in armor holding a sword. Since 1990, the estate has been owned by the Marchesi Antinori.

The total vineyard area is 334 hectares, divided into two blocks: the first, measuring 232 hectares, is located on the border between the municipalities of Montepulciano and Cortona. The other plot, 102 hectares of which are planted with vines, extends to Montepulciano between three of the most renowned subzones for the production of fine red wines: Cervognano, Santa Pia, and Gracciano.
