PRODUCT INFORMATION
Only the best Sangiovese grapes selected in the
company's Chianti Classico vineyards go to
make up this Riserva, a valid combination of
tradition and modernity. The label depicts a
famous painting by Titian 'Man in Armor'.
Characteristics Vintage
The 2021 vintage had a regular
seasonal trend, with spring rains that favored vegetative
development and guaranteed water reserves for the
summer. There were slight delays in the growth of the
shoots due to lower temperatures after Easter,
but without negative impacts on the health of the plants.
The summer was dry with a few sporadic rains,
but the accumulated water reserves avoided stress
of the plants. Summer temperatures were moderate
without excessive heat waves. Starting from the end of
August, night temperatures significantly
decreased, facilitating the ripening of the grapes. The
harvest began around September 20th and the
harvested grapes were healthy and of high
quality.
Tasting Notes and Pairings
Deep ruby ??red color. The aroma is intense and
persistent with typical hints of violet and wild
berries. It is a full-bodied, austere wine, with juicy
tannins and a fresh acidity. Aromatic complexity that comes
from a well-measured wood. It pairs well with grilled meats,
roast pigeon and sliced ??beef.

Berardenga, Siena)
