GRAPE VARIETIES: 85% Sangiovese, 15% Merlot.
VINEYARD AGE: 15–20 years.
VINIFICATION: Temperature-controlled fermentation up to a maximum of 28°C. Maceration lasts between 14 and 20 days, depending on the vintage.
MATURATION: Aged in wooden vessels of various sizes (starting at a minimum capacity of 5 hl) for 8 months, followed by a 2-month rest in temperature-controlled concrete tanks.
AGING POTENTIAL: 10–15 years.
Elegantly fresh and intense, with a smooth palate featuring red fruit aromas and a balanced spicy finish. A wine for any occasion, it pairs particularly well with raw meat dishes—such as carpaccio and steak tartare—as well as vegetarian and meat-based sauces.
