The 2006 vintage benefited from a very favorable climate. Atypical and with strong contrasts, characterized in particular by a very cold winter and a very hot summer. Having no equivalent in white, 2006 becomes the only limited edition dedicated to a Cuvée Rosé for Bollinger.

This great preview is an opportunity for the Maison to express itself through an attractive and innovative packaging. An exceptional box set, an absolute novelty in the Bollinger range. With a reference to the Mashrabiyya (a grid used as a natural ventilation device, frequently used in traditional architecture in Arab countries), plays of transparency and pink reflections, the letters intertwine and merge to create a rare and precious object. This limited edition will be the ideal gift for those who want to live or give life to an unprecedented experience.

Only 9 crus were selected to create this particular cuvée, when normally the Bollinger vintages count at least double.

The 2006 harvest was particularly good and also offered the opportunity to create an exceptional red wine, one of the Maison's great savoir-faire, a symbol of its expertise in Pinot Noir.

The Bollinger Rosé 2006 obtained from the blend of the best Grands and Premiers Crus is considered one of the best representatives of this wine year, and of this exceptional red wine. The blend is made up of 72% Pinot Noir and 28% Chardonnay. The addition of 7% red wine gives this cuvée its beautiful salmon pink dress.

This cuvée had to age for more than 10 years. An exceptionally long time but essential to fully express the character of such a singular vintage.
