Nestled between the Orcia and Ombrone rivers, the Banfi estate extends along the southern slopes of the municipality of

PRODUCTION AREA
The "Poggio all'Oro" vineyard, particularly suited to this area due to its favorable microclimate, is located in the
hilly area on the southern slopes of the municipality of Montalcino.

PRODUCTION TECHNIQUE
Produced only in excellent years, meticulously selecting the harvested grapes.
Maceration takes place at a controlled temperature in combined steel and wood
Horizon vats and lasts for 12-14 days.
Aged in barriques for 2.5 years, the wine is then
aged in bottle for at least 12-18 months before being released to the market.
ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS
Color: Intense ruby ??red, with garnet reflections that appear after long
aging.
Aroma: Intense, enveloping, fruity and spicy with hints of tobacco and chocolate.
Flavor: Full, austere, velvety, and appropriately tannic.
WINEMAKER'S REVIEW
A jewel of the Banfi family, a Brunello Riserva produced exclusively in
great vintages with selected grapes from the Poggio all'Oro vineyard, where Sangiovese
finds its ideal growing conditions. Aged for five years, just under
three of which in French oak barriques, it stands out for its extraordinary
elegance and very long aging potential.
