The "Annata" is produced from the "Greppo" vineyards, of Sangiovese grapes aged from 10 to 25 years. The "Annata" ages for 36 months in Slavonian oak barrels. The fundamental characteristic of the Brunello del Greppo Biondi Santi is its longevity; the "Annata" type can age from 20 to 40 years. Uncork and decant the bottles about 8 hours before tasting.
