Barolo di Giovanni Rosso is produced from Nebbiolo grapes from the Barolo DOCG area, which are hand-picked in October. After soft pressing, the must ferments in contact with the skins in a cement tank for about 25 days, with daily pumping over and a délestage halfway through. It is then aged for 18 to 36 months depending on the vintage in 50hl French oak barrels. Organoleptic Characteristics
This Barolo reveals itself in the glass with a bright ruby ??red color, in which floral notes, cherries in alcohol and star anise prevail on the nose. On the palate, the tannins are neat and elegant, with a long finish. Occasion and Pairing
Perfect with fresh pasta dishes, grilled fish or lamb skewers. Serving Temperature
To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 16/18°C.
