PRODUCT INFORMATION
DESCRIPTION OF BAROLO ROMIRASCO
Barolo Bussia “Romirasco” by Aldo Conterno is a great icon of the Italian wine world, produced by one of the most famous and historic wineries in the Langhe in Piedmont. A collector's bottle, which tells the story of Barolo through one of the most exclusive crus of Bussia, in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba. A highly prestigious label that embodies all the charm of this unique Piedmontese terroir that has made Nebbiolo famous throughout the world.
Aldo Conterno "Romirasco" is obtained from 100% Nebbiolo grapes from the Romirasco di Bussia vineyard, grown on clay-limestone soils exposed to the south west. The harvest begins in the first half of October and, after a careful manual qualitative selection of the bunches, the vinification is carried out in stainless steel tanks where fermentation is followed by maceration on the skins for approximately 30 days. After racking, the liquid remains in steel for approximately 4-5 months. This is followed by refinement in Slavonian oak barrels for approximately 30 months, during which several rackings are carried out.
