Barbaresco Riserva ‘Asili’ by Bruno Giacosa is one of the great masterpieces of the Langhe, a fine wine that expresses both the noble character and the surprising longevity of Nebbiolo. On the nose it enchants with its intense aromas of flowers and dark fruit enriched by elegant balsamic, spicy and woody hints. On the palate it is austere but of great finesse, with an enveloping texture and very fresh. The tannins, initially tight, soften with the minutes and the sip leads towards a very, very long finish
