PRODUCT INFORMATION

GRAPE VARIETY
100% Pinot Grigio
WINEMAKING
The grapes are softly pressed and the must undergoes static clarification.
It is subsequently fermented in steel tanks at a specific temperature
controlled at 20°C. The wine then ages for a few months on its own yeasts
stainless steel containers.
TASTING
The brilliant straw yellow nuances and hints of Pinot Grigio are striking
ripe pear, white pepper and a touch of sage. Full-bodied in its minerality, it boasts
a balanced flavor and an unexpected persistence on the palate. A wine with character
and with a versatile combination.
TERROR
Steep vineyards facing south-east and south-west between 250 and 600m above sea level. Grapes
coming from cool high altitude areas and warmer than average classic areas
height. Calcareous soils with clayey, sandy and porphyritic parts.
Collection made entirely by hand.
HARVEST 2023
With great pleasure we announce the arrival of a promising vintage! After a typical spring, a phase
fresh in May slightly delayed the vegetative period, resulting in only the onset of flowering
towards the end of this month. The high temperatures, and the drought of June and July, then slowed down
the development of the vine again and have, so to speak, normalized it. At the beginning of August the
long-awaited rains, providing the vines with the water they needed. The meticulous work in the vineyard has given
its fruits, despite the challenging climate with hot periods contrasted with cool periods with rain.
Thanks to the "golden South Tyrolean autumn", the grapes were finally able to benefit from optimal climatic conditions and above all a lot of sun for a long time, to the point that the start of the harvest was postponed
compared to the "historic" date of the beginning of September. In terms of quality, the 2023 vintage expresses itself with levels of
very balanced acidity, a characteristic fruit and a good structure.
