The Chianti Colli Senesi of Castello Romitorio is a Tuscan red wine with a lively and energetic personality, obtained from Sangiovese grapes in purity and aged for 10 months in oak barrels. It smells of Mediterranean scrub and damp earth, then exploding on notes of morello cherries and blackcurrants and revealing itself in a fresh and pungent mouthfeel, of structure but not heavy thanks to the agile fruitiness of the persistent aromatic finish.
