Jancis Robinson
"Youthful mid ruby. Sweet bright spicy red fruit with top notes of candied peel. Lovely sweet fruit shot through by tangy acidity. Unpolished and genuine".

Tasting Notes : "Intense aromas of clay, spices and dried fruits follow through to a full, chewy palate with lots of tannins and a bark, cedar aftertaste. Need a couple years to soften."
COLOUR: Intense ruby red with garnet shades.
AROMAS: At first aromas of ripe red fruits as sour cherry followed by minerals hints of flint and graphite. Finish of tertiary elements with etheric aromas of beeswax and incense.
TASTE: Intense aromas, tangy acidity, lot of tannins.
VINTAGE VARIATION: We had a rainy spring which was helpful to refill the groundwater and delayed the blossoming. The summertime was characterized by the homogeneous alternance of rainfall and sunny days. In September we had a perfect climate with cool night and warm sunny days until the end of the harvest. It was thanks to the extraordinary grapes of this vintage that we could produce this Brunello 2010 characterized by a great elegance, freshness and longevity with intence and extremely complex aromas.
